Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of this website and describe the general basis on which Economy Plumbers San Tan Valley provides plumbing services. The written estimate and invoice for your specific job govern that job, and where they differ from this page, they control.

Estimates are provided in writing and are based on the conditions visible at the time of assessment. Where concealed conditions are discovered during work — for example, a defect inside a wall or under a slab — we stop, show you what we found and provide a revised written price before continuing.

Estimates are valid for the period stated on the estimate. Material costs can change, and we will tell you if that affects your price before scheduling.

Diagnostic fees cover the diagnostic work performed. Where you proceed with the recommended repair, the fee is credited toward that work.

We provide arrival windows rather than exact times and we notify you when a technician is on the way. Emergency dispatch takes priority over scheduled work, which can occasionally affect scheduled appointments — we will always contact you if that happens.

You are responsible for providing safe access to the work area, including clearing stored items, and for securing pets during the visit.

Where a permit is required by the applicable jurisdiction, we pull it and coordinate inspection as part of the job. Permit fees are passed through at cost and appear as a line item on your estimate.

We do not perform permitted work without a permit.

Workmanship is covered by our labor warranty for the period stated on your invoice. Materials and equipment carry the manufacturer's warranty, which we register in your name where registration is required.

Warranties do not cover damage caused by misuse, alteration by others, freezing, acts of nature, or failure to perform required maintenance — including manufacturer-required maintenance such as water heater flushing and tankless descaling.

Warranty on work performed on customer-supplied materials is limited to our labor. We cannot warrant materials we did not provide.

Payment is due on completion unless other terms are agreed in writing. We accept cash, check and major credit cards, and financing is available on qualifying work.

For larger projects, a deposit and progress payment schedule may be set out in the written agreement.

After-hours, weekend and holiday work carries a premium rate, which we quote before dispatching. If your situation can safely wait until standard hours, we will tell you.

Emergency work may be limited to stabilizing the situation — stopping water and making the property safe — with permanent repair scheduled separately at standard rates.

We are plumbers. Structural drying, mold remediation, restoration and reconstruction are separate trades and are not included in our scope unless expressly stated in writing.

We are not responsible for pre-existing conditions, for concealed conditions that could not reasonably be discovered, or for damage arising from conditions we identified in writing and were not authorized to correct.
